RED HOUSE futsal team participates in friendly match against Concept
The RED HOUSE Perdizes boys’ futsal team played a friendly match against the Concept school last Saturday, September 21. The families of the student athletes were also invited to attend and cheer. The match was held at Concept.
“We have competitive futsal and volleyball teams for students in the Middle Years and High School at RED HOUSE Perdizes and RED HOUSE Villa-Lobos”, says Laís Ribeiro, Head of School at the Perdizes Campus.
Teams can be formed by mixing students from different classes and age groups, respecting the interests and aptitudes of each one. This approach not only promotes diversity within the teams, but also provides the opportunity for younger students to learn from more experienced ones, creating an environment of mentoring and collaborative learning.
According to Laís, the goal of these teams is to strengthen students’ sports skills and form competitive teams capable of representing the school in more complex sports challenges, such as tournaments, friendlies, championships etc., both within RED HOUSE and in external competitions. “After all, in this crucial phase of growth, the introduction to structured competitions and the focus on developing fundamental sports skills are priorities for RED HOUSE”, she concludes.
