January is dedicated to the professional development of both new and returning teachers. The goal is to ensure excellence in education through the adoption of new practices, process alignment, and knowledge acquisition.
Every beginning of the year at RED HOUSE is marked by a pivotal moment for our educational team: the Pedagogical Professional Development (PPD) program. This carefully designed journey integrates knowledge with current technologies and educational practices.
The PPD program is designed for teachers joining us in 2025 and those who have been part of our journey for years. This moment also allows seasoned educators to review their knowledge and enrich discussions with the new team members.
This year, we continued with two complementary tracks: synchronous and asynchronous sessions. Specialists lead the synchronous curriculum, language, and mathematics sessions, sharing conceptual insights with the entire team. Meanwhile, the asynchronous sessions are facilitated by local coordinators and directors, focusing on procedural topics such as school culture, teacher handbooks, and communication platforms
This blend of collaborative sessions and tailored approaches is one of the ways we ensure that all teachers remain aligned with the most modern and effective global practices. “At RED HOUSE, professional development is not merely an event; it is an integral part of our culture, reinforcing our commitment to high-quality bilingual international education year after year,” states Milene Motta, Head of Learning Experience.
