The immersive workshop brought teachers together to deepen their understanding of Primary Years Programme (PYP) practices and empower the faculty.
Last week, our teachers participated in an exclusive workshop with official representatives from the International Baccalaureate (IB). Over the course of three immersive days, they explored best practices of the Primary Years Programme (PYP), designed for Early Years and Primary School students.
The workshop also played a key role in the IB certification process for candidate campuses, ensuring that teachers gained the necessary tools and strategies to implement the program by international standards. For schools that are already IB-certified, the training served as an opportunity for continuous development and refinement, ensuring that educators remain aligned with the IB’s best practices.
The program covered fundamental topics such as collaborative planning, formative assessment, and inquiry-based learning while also reinforcing the educator’s role as a leader in academic development. This process and the exchange of experiences among participants further strengthened RED HOUSE identity as a leading institution in bilingual international education.
“With this initiative, we reaffirm our commitment to pedagogical innovation and the continuous professional development of our teachers. We spare no effort to ensure excellence in education for our students,” says Flávia Hoexter, Pedagogical Director and Founder of RED HOUSE.
