Red House Participações S.A. (“Red House”) takes privacy and the protection of personal information seriously. This Privacy Notice (“Notice”) has been prepared in accordance with Federal Law No. 13,709/2018, the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (“LGPD”), to explain how we collect, use, store, share, and otherwise process personal information under our responsibility. This Notice applies to Red House Participações S.A., Red House Brasil Ltda., Systemic Editora e Distribuidora de Livros Ltda., and Escola Internacional de São Paulo Ltda.

1. What types of personal information do we process? 
The following are examples of the types of personal information processed by Red House: 

1. Identification and contact information, such as full name, student ID number, email address, mobile phone number, CPF, date of birth, and address; 

2. Login credentials, such as username and password; 

3. Academic and school-related information, such as academic records, diplomas, educational background, grade level, and class; 

4. Information related to the provision of educational services, such as assessment results, class schedules, and information related to meals and dietary needs; 

5. Images and voice recordings, including photographs and videos taken during school activities; and 

6. Electronic browsing information, such as IP address, cookies, and information about how our websites, applications, and other digital resources are used, including the areas visited and features accessed. 

2. Why and how do we process your personal information? 
We process personal information for specific purposes related to the provision and administration of our educational services and the operation of our school community. The categories of personal information we process, as well as the purposes for which we process them, depend on the individual and the specific activity involved. 

Login credentials 
We process login credentials to create user accounts and enable access to the Red House school app. 

3. How do we store your personal information? 
Red House stores personal information securely using technological infrastructure designed and maintained in accordance with applicable security standards. 

4. With whom may we share your personal information? 
We may share personal information when necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Notice. The following are examples of the categories of third parties with whom personal information may be shared: 

1. Suppliers and service providers that support Red House in carrying out the activities described in this Notice, such as food service providers at our schools; 

2. Public authorities and regulatory agencies, when necessary to comply with legal or regulatory obligations or in response to lawful requests, such as requests from the Ministry of Education; 

3. Third-party companies in connection with corporate transactions or other changes involving Red House; and 

4. Other companies within the Red House Participações S.A. group, to support the centralized management and administration of our business operations. 

5. How do we delete your personal information? 
Red House retains personal information securely only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Notice, including to comply with legal and regulatory obligations and to exercise or protect legal rights. When personal information is no longer necessary for these purposes, it will be deleted in accordance with the rules governing the termination of processing, deletion, and permitted retention of personal information under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law. 

6. How do we protect your personal information? 
Red House implements appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access and against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure, or any other form of improper or unlawful processing. These measures include safeguards designed to prevent unauthorized access to our corporate systems, platforms, and other technological tools. 

7. Data Subject Rights 
Under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law, data subjects have certain rights with respect to their personal information. These rights may be exercised by the data subject or by a duly authorized representative, subject to applicable legal and technical limitations and, where required, identity verification procedures. 

These rights include: 

1. Confirmation and access: You may request confirmation as to whether Red House processes your personal information and, where applicable, request access to such information; 

2. Correction or updating: You may request the correction or updating of personal information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated; 

3. Deletion, anonymization, and/or blocking: You may request the deletion, anonymization, or blocking of your personal information when it has been processed excessively, unnecessarily, or in violation of the LGPD; 

4. Objection: You may object to the processing of your personal information, subject to applicable legal requirements and limitations; 

5. Data portability: You may request the portability of your personal information, in accordance with regulations to be issued by the Brazilian Data Protection Authority (Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados, or “ANPD”); 

6. Information about data sharing: In addition to the information provided in this Notice, you may request additional information about how and with whom your personal information is shared; 

7. Information about consent: You may request information about the possible consequences of not providing consent to the processing of your personal information; 

8. Withdrawal of consent and deletion of information: When processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw your consent and/or request the deletion of personal information processed on the basis of that consent; 

9. Review of automated decisions: You may request a review of decisions made exclusively through automated processing, without human involvement, and/or request information about the criteria used to make such decisions; and 

10. Right to contact the competent authority: If, after submitting a request regarding the processing of your personal information to Red House, you believe that your request has not been properly addressed, you may submit a complaint or petition to the Brazilian Data Protection Authority (Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados, or “ANPD”).

Therefore, this Cookie Policy aims to inform, clearly and objectively, what cookies are, why we use them, and how they are employed on our website, portals, and digital platforms, hereinafter simply referred to as “Platforms”.

1. What are Cookies?

4. Types of Cookies used by RED HOUSE

According to their use and purpose, we classify cookies into three types: (1) Necessary Cookies, (2) Performance and Functionality Cookies, and (3) Advertising Cookies. We describe below the characteristics of each of these types of cookies:

4.1 Necessary Cookies

Essential for the functioning of the Platforms, such as session maintenance and basic settings. They do not identify the user directly. Deactivation may compromise the operation of the services.

4.2 Performance and Functionality Cookies

Allow personalizing navigation based on the user's preferences (such as language, location, and login). In some cases, they may identify the user. If disabled, certain features may become unavailable.

4.3 Advertising Cookies

Used to display content and ads based on the user's navigation profile, through data collection. If disabled, the displayed content may be generic and less relevant.

5. Duration of Cookies storage

The types of cookies previously seen can also be classified according to the storage duration into (1) Non-persistent Cookies and (2) Persistent Cookies.

• Non-persistent Cookies are used only while the user navigates the RED HOUSE website. Browsers delete them right after the user leaves the website. 
• Persistent Cookies remain in the user's browser for a longer period, being kept even after the end of the navigation on the RED HOUSE website.

The RED HOUSE website uses both persistent and non-persistent cookies.
