RED HOUSE Invests in College Counseling Through Immersive Visits to U.S. Universities
In-person visits to American institutions strengthen relationships with admissions officers and broaden perspectives on higher education abroad.
In May, Laís Ribeiro, Head of Middle Years and High School at RED HOUSE, traveled to several states across the United States to visit universities and expand the opportunities offered to High School students throughout their international college preparation journey.
During the trip, she visited institutions with a wide range of academic profiles and educational approaches, in addition to attending a course at the Harvard Graduate School of Education focused on the college admissions process. Among the universities visited were the University of Massachusetts Boston, the University of Connecticut, the University of San Diego, and Fordham University.
The experience provided valuable insights into campus life, student well-being, innovation, and infrastructure, reinforcing RED HOUSE’s commitment to college counseling aligned with global education trends. Additionally, strong relationships with international universities help create a more seamless and supportive placement process, broadening the range of opportunities available to our students as they pursue studies abroad.
“Visiting different universities and experiencing their campuses, facilities, and academic cultures firsthand was incredibly enriching. Building connections with some of the leading institutions in the United States allows us to provide our students with more strategic and up-to-date guidance as they navigate their college choices and prepare for admission to universities around the world.” says Laís Ribeiro.
