Middle Years

Students develop confidence, responsibility, and an international mindset.

In the Middle Years, students become more independent in their learning and feel more responsible for the results they can achieve. From Year 6 to Year 9, our curriculum adopts an interdisciplinary approach, connecting subjects in a practical and integrated way.

The Middle Years Journey

Various timetable options are available for your convenience. 

Year 6: 11 to 12 years

Year 7: 12 to 13 years

Year 8: 13 to 14 years

We offer continuous support, encouraging self-confidence, responsibility, and multicultural understanding.

Choices and Autonomy

From Year 6 onwards, students choose an elective subject that reflects their interests.
Some of the options include:
- Creativity Lab

Interdisciplinary Curriculum

From Year 6 to Year 9, our curriculum adopts an interdisciplinary approach, connecting subjects in a practical and integrated way. Design classes explore: 
- Product design 
- Graphic design 
- Universal design 
- Design Thinking methodologies 
In addition, students experience STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) activities, applying concepts to solve real problems.

Final Project

In Year 9, students carry out a final project investigating how they can positively impact their environment, resulting in a service to the community. The final presentation celebrates these learnings and inspires younger students.
